New opportunities for Italian cultural heritage

According to the latest data provided by the Digital Innovation Observatory in Cultural Heritage and Activities of the Milan Polytechnic, 27% of the almost 5,000 Italian museums do not offer visitors any type of digital service to promote and enhance their cultural activities.

However, some institutions have taken up the challenge, radically changing their way of approaching and interacting with digital users and visitors.
